Family getting baptized...
We finally decided it was time! On Sunday we all got baptized (except Cody and Tyler because they are to young) It was a wonderful and moving experience. It felt right doing this in our church Cedar Creek. I'm not sure if to many of you know... that up until 2 yrs ago when we found Cedar Creek, I would never had done anything like being baptized. I was one of those people that learned thru the years of growing up that churches and people in them, couldn't be trusted. This believe system that I had developed also made me not trust in God/Jesus which in return brought me farther away from God/Jesus. I still have my issues with believing in people that are in churches but I am working on it. I am working on those issues together with God/Jesus. I've learned that just because you are baptized and try to follow the path of Jesus doesn't mean you have all the answers and life will be easier for you. I'm taking one day at a time and keeping my heart and mind open to all that God/Jesus wants to show me.

Char we are all sinners saved by grace...none of us our perfect. God is perfecting our faith but it will never be completely perfect until we go home to Him. Open your heart to people. We are commanded to love others as ourself and it's through God's love that we are able to do that...so you're on the right track! Jesus is the only way!!!
