I made it thru the day and I'm alive to tell about it!
Ok...every year I take the kids school shopping. Lets just say I have stress attacks every year before it begins. Well, today I threw myself and the kids into it so I could get it over with. It's kind of like taking a band aid off, sometimes u just have to do it quickly because u know it's going to hurt. I started out with school supplies at Stapes and saved tons of money there. They had free pencils, 15 cent folders, 50 cent pencil boxes, and free glue. So, I was proud of all the money I saved there because I knew the school clothes were really going to hurt. Then... we went to Walmart got the rest of the school supplies and I did Sally, Cody, and Tyler's clothes shopping there. I left out of there at just under 200. My last stop was at Deb's for the 4 older girls clothes and this one I'm the most proud of. I have taught my girls really well over the years on how to get the best deals. Now keep in mind this is 4 teenage girls... I escaped an hour and a half later with only 240 dollars less in my pocket. I feel so free that the school shopping has been lifted up off of me. I guess u could say I had an ouchless band aid that I took off. Thank you God for letting me get thru another year of school shopping.
