Ok, here it is... on Thursday I went to a Leadership Summit that my church was hosting. This Summit teaches you how to lead where you are. It's for Pators, leaders, business people and everyone else. On Thursday we saw Bill Hybel, Gary Haugen, Bill George, Wendy Kopp, John Burke, and Efrem Smith. My favorite speaker out of the whole night was Efrem Smith. He is a very powerful speaker, he keeps your attention the whole time. Infact your afraid to look away because you might miss something. He's a very funny man. He taught us how to lead in a multi cultured world. One of my favorite saying that he said was " When Jesus come back that will be Justice until then it's Just Us". Efrem Smith is a pastor of The Sanctuary Covenant Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is the Author of Raising up Young Heroes and The Hip-Hop Church. My second favorite speaker was John Burke. He talked about what kind of soil you think people need to grow? He also talked about his 60/60 experiment where every 60 mins for 60 days you set your cell phone or leave notes and when that goes off u connect with God in someway. You can connect with God thru pray, reading your bible or simple just talking with him. I'm going to try this experiment and anyone interested in doing it with me just let me know. Just remember its only every hour when your awake. LOL! John Burke is the lead pastor at Gateway Community Church In Austin, Texas. He is the Author of No Perfect People Allowed and Soul Revolution, which I bought. Thusday was a very long day packed filled with tons of info on how we can lead from where we are Right now. I'll tell you more about Fridays Summit later. I also have a few pics. I didn't take many pics or any video because I want to be able to pay attention. My son got to come for free. He is 18 and just loved watching the Summit. He is all pumped up and ready to lead from where he is. It's so wonderful to see your child so excited about God and what God can do thru him. I can't wait to see God working thru him and what amazing things he will do.

It is one of the most amazing things to watch children grow in their faith and be able to minister even at the youngest of ages....
