Thank You...

I have to tell you God is doing some amazing work in my life right now. Our relationship with my brother in-law has not been there for years. We started to work and build our relationship with him and get it back where it should be. It's just so amazing to see all the things we've missed by not having him in our lives. We get that second chance to work on things, love him and not live with regrets. How Awesome is that? Then another amazing thing happened...a girl that we use to foster has came back in our lives. It's kind of a long story but she is living back with her grandma and doing pretty well. I saw her at a graduation party yesterday and she wanted to stay the night and spend some time with us. Well, she spent the night and I talked with her grandma and we worked out for her to spend a lot of time with us this summer. If fact, this weekend she is going with us for Food for Thoughts which I think is an awesome thing for her to get involved in. See, she was at one point of her life homeless and living on the streets. So, I think she is really going to give us a gift of looking through her eyes and changing some things for the better. I can't wait to see what might come from this. Tomorrow, I start my training to be an instructor for The American Red Cross in First Aid and CPR which I'm really looking forward to. So, today as I was thinking of all the things that are going on in my life...I paused...and Thanked God. Thank You God!!!
