Food 4 Thought
Went downtown to help out for Food For Thought today. It always amazes me when I go down there. It can be raining and as soon as we get there... the rain stops and the sunshine comes out. I guess thats kind of how I feel when I go there. It can be a really bad day but as soon as I get there... my sunshine comes out. Nothing else matters except being there, forming relationships, and serving others. I bring family and friends with me every week and they all seem to feel the same. People there end up touching your heart in ways you never thought it could be.

The very first Saturday we did FFT it poured...I told the small group of ten people that if we could come out on a day like this we didn't ever have an excuse to miss a week! It didn't rain for 68 weeks during our Saturday morning picnics...then when it finally did - 75 volunteers danced and played in the rain. It still rarely rains on us - G_d is good!
