Chyna is sick!

My Great Dane Chyna is very sick. We took her to the vet yesterday because she stopped eating and could hardly get around the house. We found out she has Autoimmune Hemoltic Anemia. This is when markers called antibodies, stick to her red blood cells and cause her body to believe the red blood cells are a " foreign invader" causing her immune system to attack and destroy her red blood cells. She is pretty bad and I guess we will find out in the next day or two if the steriods he gave her will help or not. So...right now I'm feeding her and hoping she will make it through. I know she still has a few good years in her.
