Chyna passed away...

On Friday night Chyna was coming to the end and I could feel it. She was having a hard time breathing, not eating, and you could see it in her eyes. I told the kids after I picked them up from the football game, that I didn't think Chyna would make it through the night. So, anything they wanted her to know they should make sure to tell her. My husband, older children and I gathered around Chyna in the family room. We told her some of the things that we would miss most about her. We told her that we loved her and we all cried a whole lot. Chyna looked at each one of us, one by one, almost like she was taking mental pictures of us. So, I took one last picture of her. My husband and I layed down next to her and told her it was ok. This was one of the hardest things I had to do until I finally realized it wasn't about me. This was about Chyna and making sure she wasn't alone as she left this world. This went on for about an hour. The kids left to go to bed and I went to go get changed so I could spend the night on the floor with Chyna. My husband was still with her and as I came back he told me with tears in his eyes that Chyna has gone, as if she knew it was ok to go. My husband said her breathing slowed down and she looked back at him one last time and took one last deep breath, laid her head down and died. The older kids came down as they heard us crying. They all began to cry as this overwhelming feeling set in that our beloved dog Chyna was gone. I believe all animals go to heaven and right now Chyna is up there looking down on us. I thank God for giving us the time we had with her and I will cherish every memory of it. I also thank him for letting us be with her right up until the moment she left this earth. I look forward to the day when I can see my big puppy Chyna again. Until then Goodbye my Chyna and Don't give God your famous crotch hugs. WE LOVE YOU and WILL MISS YOU DEARLY!!!
